2019 - A Banner Year

When City Alive started its work in 2014, Albuquerque's economy was vying for a spot as one of the last cities to recover from the recession. Today, we are topping different lists. Ones we can be very proud of. We rank No. 6 in the US for employment growth. Our local networks are denser than the global average. And City Alive partners have raised over $40 million dollars to support homegrown economic development efforts over the last six years.

These are great wins. But there is still more to do to bridge the gap in business ownership and leadership. As we embark on 2020, City Alive's leadership and community partners continue our commitment to supporting homegrown business owners and leaders with a focus on people of color.
