In 2020, after six years as an initiative, City Alive has a strong foundation. But to realize our vision of Albuquerque becoming the best place in the US to start and scale a business, especially for people of color, we need creative ideas and innovative solutions. That’s where you come in.

Turning Ideas into Action.

Have you observed or experienced a gap in Albuqeurque’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and (this is key) dreamed up an idea to solve it? We would like to join forces with you.

Whether you work at a nonprofit, run a business yourself, have a pulse on an opportunity, or are a community member with a great idea, City Alive's Call to Join Forces is where your idea to improve Albuquerque’s entrepreneurial ecosystem finds the partnerships and collaborators that can help move it from idea into action

Anyone can respond to the Call. And there are just three simple requirements:

1.The solution must involve collaboration—it can not be focused on a single entity or organization.

2.The solution must be primarily focused on supporting homegrown businesses/business owners and leaders.

3.The solution must address closing the racial wealth gap.

Leading by Example:

Tamarind Institute and CABQ Join Forces and New Mexico Artists Win.

The Tipping Points at Tamarind Institute program is an excellent example of what happens when organizations work together: homegrown artists gain more opportunities to succeed. Know an amazing artist who might like to land their portfolio in the UNM Art Museum, Tamarind Collection, and City Public Art Collection in one fell swoop? This opportunity is not to be missed. Deadline for artist applications is February 24th.
